About the Cock Inn, Diss

Overlooking Fair Green with its open grassed area and wooden play equipment The Cock Inn make an ideal destination for family customers and provides a stunning vista with its famous sunsets and picturesque backdrop.

Chris Gissing arrived on Fair Green in 2003 when he opened The Fayre View Restaurant offering fine dining and accommodation and has achieved recognition with regional awards and star reviews in local media. When the opportunity arose to become landlord of the neighbouring pub it was an opportunity not to be missed and Chris has overseen an interior redesign and refit.

The bar offers the full range of standard and premium lagers, ciders and spirits and a wide selection of real ales, with rotating guest ales, which has led to recognition and listing of The Cock by CAMRA.

The Inn offers comfortable bar and lounge seating and a space-heated oak-beamed covered terrace and smoking deck caters for all.

Chris is also proud of his carefully researched wine list which has long been a feature of his restaurant and includes vintage champagnes and sparkling wines.

But above all - It's still a pub!
